Horsewear is often manufactured using waterproof/breathable fabric that blocks out rain and snow while allowing vapor from sweat to evaporate. Over time, wear and improper laundering can reduce the water resistance of your horseware. We recommend that waterproofing be "refreshed" after two years of wear for blankets properly cleaned and maintained or sooner if you notice that your horsewear is not shedding rain as you would expect.

AT Your Service Blanket Service will re-apply a protective water resistant finish to your horsewear, using professional waterproofing products specially approved by fabric manufacturers that still allow the fabric to breathe. Rubber or plastic spray products are truly waterproof; they do not allow for any airflow. While they are fine for tents and lawn furniture, they are not recommended for use as waterproofing for horseware! Skip the can, allow us to apply a breathable water resistant treatment to your horsewear that will last.

All laundering services performed by AT Your Service Horse Blanket Service are done using specially designed non-detergent soaps that will not damage the waterproofing characteristics of your fabric. Count on us to make sure your horse stays warm AND dry for the season.
